We chose this beautiful antique Flying Geese quilt from the late 1800s to create this one of a kind quilt coat.  the quilt is all hand stitched and has a beautiful range of "turkey red" colors.  Turkey red is a term used for red colors in the 1800s as the dye stuff came from the country of Turkey. We love how there are soft reds and deeper reds in the quilt. This style has a kimono style collar and large front pockets. this is a relaxed fit and one size jacket.
